night life
Hi Folks,
For the last couple of years, I have been working on the streets of Wellington, New Zealand, helping to keep the city safe and have got to know the night life of the city. Right now, I am on holiday and have been visiting several married friends with younger children. And I am wondering: How do we bring up our kids, so that they will get out there, have a good time and maintain the standards that will make them good marriage partners and parents.
The thing that I thank my parents for is that they did not try to shield me from the realities of life and they encouraged me to make my own decisions from a very early age.
Believing in the kiss principle, I would love to come up with a four point plan.

This response came by email from the mother of eight grown children who have kept their equilibrium in today's world. She wrote:
My 4 points might be:
1 Walk the Talk
2 Be available
3 Keep learning
4 Love unconditionally
But I believe there are lots more. Best of luck (and grace)! Not sure how
to be a blogger!!
